A stylish and unusual frosted glass perfume bottle by Jenny Blair Designs (JBD), combining satin-finished glass with ornate silver-coloured metal decoration and pink cabochon stones. Its elegant proportions and decorative detailing make it an attractive vanity piece as well as a collectable example of British studio glass.

The bottle has a softly frosted glass body with a matching frosted ball stopper and integral glass dipper. The neck and shoulders are covered by an intricate wraparound floral metal mount, highlighted by three pink cabochons. The elongated neck and classical vase-shaped body give the bottle a refined appearance, while the flowing metal decoration introduces a distinctly Art Nouveau-inspired character.

Jenny Blair Designs operated from a studio in Rugby, England, during the 1980s and 1990s. The studio became known for distinctive decorative perfume bottles, including individually hand-painted designs with applied gold and silver decoration. This example belongs to the more sculptural side of the studio’s work, combining frosted glass with ornamental metalwork and coloured cabochons. The studio ceased trading in 2003.

Size: approximately 10 cm high x 4 cm diameter (3.9″ x 1.6″ diameter)

An attractive decorative bottle that would appeal to collectors of Jenny Blair Designs, vintage vanity items and frosted studio glass.
