They are used to bolt the flat bracket face outward to a wall, panel, or instrument rack.2 Holes on the Side/Flange (Transmitter Anchors): These are stamped onto a bent right-angle side flange. 

They align vertically down the side profile to bolt the bracket directly into the rear accessory mounting threads of the 3051T housing. Bolt Sizes for This Layout For the 2 Top Holes: Typically require field-supplied 5/16-inch fasteners to secure against your chosen flat structural support. For the 2 Side Holes: Match the 3/8-16 x 1-1/4" stainless steel bolts included in the factory Emerson kit to secure the transmitter body.
