This Gibson LG-0 was made in the USA in 1958. These late 1950's all mahogany Gibson LG-0's can be really nice vintage guitars. This one is more of a player project and will require some repairs to be 100% but currently plays quite well and sounds good. The good news about this guitar is that it is nearly all original except for the saddle and an added Fishman pickup that works well. The neck angle is very optimal and the guitar has low and comfortable string height.
The main issues are many of the internal braces are loose and will need to be reglued and there is a small section where the back is separating from the sides (See pics). The center seam along the back of the guitar is open and will need to be reglued and there are few other small cracks that need repaired.
The tuners, truss rod cover, pickguard and bridge are original.
The guitar shows some heavy cosmetic play wear such as heavy nicks, dings and scratched.
The guitar comes with the non original soft shell case pictured and will be expertly packed for safe shipping.
This guitar was listed as needing some repairs so please review the description and pictures and message with questions. Due the repairs needed this is being listed in AS-IS condition and no returned or refunds are permitted and no warranty is implied.
