Here we have an Egyptian motif tablecloth featuring the sphinx, Egyptians at the well and camels in each corner. It is beautifully crafted. There is a pocket sewn into the 80” length which if removed would add 4” to the length making the dimension 84” by 70”. It would seem this cloth was hung as a tapestry at some time in its life, however many of the images would appear upside down viewed as a tapestry. There are a couple of marks shown in the photos which may be removed if laundered, but possibly not. Lastly, the material is identified as cotton, but to be honest I’m not positive. See photos.
