This charming Cobalt Blue pressed glass Boat Salt is a reproduction of an early 19th-century Boston & Sandwich Glass Company design. Produced for the Sandwich Glass Museum beginning in the mid-1980s, these collectible reproductions feature the distinctive “SANDWICH” lettering molded into the side medallions and the “ACORN” mark associated with the museum reproduction series as well as the Pairpoint Diamond P mark on the bottom. Measuring approximately 3.5 inches long, this miniature vessel showcases crisp pressed feather, scroll, and stipple details and is perfect as an open salt cellar, trinket dish, toothpick holder, or display piece in an Early American Pattern Glass collection. In very nice vintage condition - one flaw on the opposite side of where sandwich is written (see pics) . A wonderful collectible reproduction celebrating the historic Boston & Sandwich Glass Company and the craftsmanship of traditional pressed glass.  Heavy well made piece.
