A beautiful artisan-crafted butterfly brooch featuring sculptural silver-tone wirework, sparkling glass bead accents, and a large polished multicoloured natural stone body.

Measuring approximately 2.25" x 2.25", the butterfly is constructed from multiple gauges of silver-tone wire. Heavier wire forms the outer wings, body structure, head and graceful curled antennae, while finer curved wires create the delicate interior wing details.

Faceted clear and champagne-yellow glass rondelle beads are threaded along the interior wires. The beads are intentionally free-moving rather than fixed in place, allowing them to shift gently along their individual wire sections and catch the light from different angles.

The butterfly's body is formed by a large polished natural stone cabochon, believed to be multicoloured agate or chalcedony, with beautiful cloudlike areas of seafoam green, pale aqua, golden yellow, peach, and soft pink.

The reverse reveals the intricate hand-assembled wirework and is fitted with a secure rollover clasp.
