Vintage “POTTERY” Large Bacchus Mask / Wall Hanging – Hand Decorated Majolica – Made in Italy

 

A ceramic wall hanging mask featuring a white face with multi-color hand decorated leaves, grapes, apples, a pomegranate, and a lemon. The mask has a red clay body and a wire for hanging on a wall.

 

This mask measures: 9-3/8” wide x 9-5/8” high. This mask weighs 5.1 pounds.

 

This piece has its original label which is completely faded and unreadable.

 

The wall hanging mask is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs.  There are a few rough surface flaws and a large flat chip (3/8” x 9/16”) on one leaf, (please see photos.)
