Athearn HO Southern Pacific Caboose #1087 — Blue Box 1251,
Brown with Aged/Yard-Worn Patina

This is an Athearn HO “Blue Box” Southern Pacific caboose, road number 1087, catalog 1251, finished in brown with “LOCAL” lettering. Classic Athearn Trains in Miniature packaging is included, making this a great vintage HO addition for layout use or collection.

The caboose features a realistic aged patina / weathered finish, giving it the look of a well-used SP yard or local service caboose—perfect for layouts aiming for authenticity. Details include roofwalk, end ladders, smokestack, arch-bar style trucks, operating couplers, and crisp Southern Pacific graphics on both sides.

Packaging & Condition: Used, with intentional aged/yard-worn weathering and normal running wear. Please review photos to be sure you like the patina. Box shows shelf wear, old stickers and tape residue, and edge/corner wear, but still protects the model well.
