The Lenovo ThinkPad W540 supports a maximum external display resolution of UHD 3840x2160 a/k/a 4K at 60Hz via the Mini DisplayPort (mDP) and using an appropriate mDP to DP cable/cord; this is the maximum resolution for this laptop. The laptop supports up to three independent displays and uses DisplayPort 1.2 technology, which is capable of handling high-resolution monitors or TVs. If you use a mDP to HDMI cable it can limit resolution to FHD 1080p at 30Hz depending on the adapter type. We DO ship to Alaska, Hawaii and internationally via eBay’s Global Shipping Program only, but in such cases the laptop will ship with no battery.  By purchasing with this stipulation, you agree that you will not be receiving a battery. Lithium Ion batteries are listed as hazardous cargo and cannot be shipped by air; it will be stopped at customs and returned to us.  It will of course take much longer for you to receive your item if not purchased within the contiguous 48 states.  Within the contiguous 48 states of the U.S., your item will ship via USPS Priority Mail/by air.

RETURNS:

Return shipping is paid by us.  Take care of the item you purchase and (I can’t overstate this enough) if you must return it, return shipping should be 1) secure (as in a stout cardboard box not easily crushed or dented), 2) well insulated from damage (e.g., Bubble wrap, not toilet paper; or Styrofoam, not paper towels), and 3) insured for its full value with tracking and signature confirmation upon delivery. USPS Priority provides all but the insulation needed.
