This Trammell horse bit features the classic Billy Allen mouthpiece, designed to offer independent side movement while limiting the nutcracker action found in standard snaffles. Trammell is a well-regarded name in Western tack, known for durable and effective bit designs. The "TRAMMELL" brand name is clearly stamped on the upper portion of the shank.

Condition: Good used condition. The mouthpiece shows characteristic surface oxidation/rust typical of sweet iron bits, which is intended to enhance the horse's acceptance of the bit. The stainless steel shanks show minor surface scratches and light wear from use but remain structurally sound. All joints and rollers move freely as intended.
