Artist’s note:
Dennis Morris recounted his 1977 trip to Sweden to photograph the Sex Pistols during a SHOWstudio interview with Nick Knight in 2013:

“I think on the second morning, I woke up and thought it was a good day to do some pictures, so I knocked on Sid’s door and said ‘Let’s do some pictures,’ and he went, ‘Yeah, alright.’ That was it really — I drew the curtains and moved away the furniture and used the wall of the room as a studio, as a backdrop. With Sid there was never really any conversation, really, it was just a matter of kind of jive talking. He had his own sort of secret language.”
