This set is a faithful artistic recreation of the battle-ready armor worn by bushi during the Sengoku period (Warring States period, 16th century).

The armor comes with its original, signed wooden presentation plaque (Kiribako lid/plaque) bearing the master's calligraphy, personal monogram (Kao), and red seal (Inkan).
