A 1960 ink drawing of two figures by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This drawing features two stylized people from the bust up. One faces forward and the other looks over to the side. There are two lines running across the page in the background. Held in a black frame against a white mat, this piece is signed and dated to the lower edge.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
