Up for sale is my 84 Rx-7 GSL-SE which has served me faithfully since April 2000. The current mileage is 286,100 but most of the moving parts have either been replaced or rebuilt.   The reason for selling is age related, mine (74) not the car. This Rx-7 looks and drives beautifully, and I frequently get complements about it. The GSL-SE trim was top of the Rx-7 lineup in 84-85, and although it looks similar to the 12A cars it has many features of the next generation FC model. This car has lived its entire life in the part of the PNW with no salted winter roads, has had no accidents, and a clean title in my name. Rotary engines have a reputation for having more than their share of reliability issues, but this has been the most reliable car I've owned. A long time Mazda dealer mechanic told me the 13b GSL-SE 6 port which has 2-piece 3mm steel apex seals rather than the thinner seals found in later models was the most reliable rotary engine Mazda ever made.
