MINT NOS Vintage Soviet GAZ-21 Volga Floor-Mounted Gas Pedal Rubber Cover - Made in USSR Genuine Period-Correct OEM

Item Overview: Up for sale is an authentic, brand new New Old Stock (NOS) factory-original floor-hinged accelerator (gas/throttle) pedal rubber pad cover. Manufactured in the Soviet Union (USSR) during the classic automotive era, this cover features the traditional, long U-groove parallel traction pattern natively matching retro passenger cars and cargo platforms.

Unlike modern smooth universal replacements, this original item preserves the highly specific tactile tread lines required for a true concourse-level or time-capsule cabin restoration.

Vehicle Application & Compatibility:

GAZ-21 Volga: Period-correct aesthetic and structural stretch-fit for classic floor pedal plates.
ZIL-130 / ZIL-157 / GAZ-53: Cross-compatible with various heavy-duty Soviet trucks utilizing the standardized rectangular floor throttle layout.

Technical Features:

Tread Design: Classic continuous perimeter oval loop channeling running vertically across the pad face to prevent footwear slippage.
Material: Heavy-duty, high-density industrial vulcanized black rubber compound engineered to handle decade-long mechanical wear.
Installation: Slip-on sleeve configuration featuring deep internal mounting retention walls designed to securely grab the steel core pedal lever backing plate.

Condition:

Excellent New Old Stock (NOS Survivor): This item is in pristine, uninstalled condition. As documented across the high-resolution close-up views, the rubber compound has remained beautifully pliable, soft, and flexible without any cracking, drying out, or shrinkage. It displays an honest, matte finish with a light layer of original warehouse storage dust and historical processing residue on the underside channels. Sold exactly as shown.
