A very large, three paged indentured transfer of mortgages relating to several estates in Suffolk, including Parkham Hall, Benhall or Benale, Glemham Magna and Sweffling Sparkes otherwise Leighs.
The agreement is made the 3rd of July 1827 and is between Edmund Turner of Polsale in the county of Suffolk, gentlemen of the one part and Thomas Mayhew of Saxmundham in the county of Suffolk, gentlemen of the other part.
The agreement relates to the transfer or mortgages relating to the Indentures of lease and release between John Wade of Glemham Magna (Great Glemham) in Suffolk and John Shuckford Ford Wade of Benhall in the same county and in particular in respect of all parts as were freehold of and all that messuage or tenement farm, lands, closes and enclosures, Meadow grounds, pastures and arable land, tenements, hereditaments and premises whatsoever of him the said John Wade, situated, lying and being in Glemham Magna or in some other part or parish of next door near adjoining the county of Suffolk as the same in the tenure or occupation of the said John Wade and that they said John Wade did in and by the said indenture of release now in recital covenant to surrender all the messuages and hereditaments of him And his wife Holden of the several manors of Parkham Hall, Benhall or Benale, Glemham Magna and Sweffling Sparkes otherwise Leighs in the said county of Suffolk with their pertinences.
The consideration of the agreement is the sum of £2299.15 shillings and £7.
