A last will and testament and probate document of James Sutton of Chesterton in the county of Stafford. The document is made 3 January 1891. He bequeaths to his son, James Sutton, his chest and clothes, and his watch and chain and silver spoons. His household furniture go to his daughter, Harriet, the wife of Thomas Hammond. He also gives his house to the executors. It is situated in Apedale Road, Chesterton formerly in the occupation of James Alcock, but now rented to the Midland coal, Coke and iron company. He attached probate certificate indicates he died on 25 January 1891.  The bottom margin of the document contains a pendant registry seal. The document is in good condition for its age. Obvious fold lines. No tears. The document is on vellum. Document measures 22“ x 14“. Dispatched with Royal Mail second class signed for.
