Offered for sale is my Tudor 76100 Submariner, a fantastic example of this increasingly collectible reference.
The watch has a beautiful, original dial in excellent condition, complemented by the desirable lollipop hands, with all of the original lume still intact which has developed a lovely patina. The overall appearance is superb and the wearing experience is second to none.
The case presents very well, showing only fair signs of wear consistent with age and careful use. The original hollow-link Oyster bracelet is fitted, with a few dents to some of the links, as pictured. It is currently sized for approximately a 7.5-inch wrist, with four micro-adjustment holes remaining, allowing it to fit wrists up to around 8 inches.
Mechanically, the watch is performing wonderfully. The movement runs well, and the date changes over crisply and instantly at midnight, exactly as it should.
The watch is priced well, making it the cheapest Tudor 76100 currently available in the UK, primarily because it is watch only with no box or papers. The condition and originality of the watch speak for themselves, and it represents outstanding value for anyone looking for an honest example rather than a complete set.
For me, I wanted a submariner that you don’t see every day and this was the submariner that stood apart from the rest due to the interesting handset and the markings on the dial. Unfortunately a dip in work forces the sale of this and some of my other watches.
