Gorgeous vintage micro-beaded evening bag, hand-embroidered with a floral design in soft pink, blue, lavender, and yellow on a cream beaded ground with rolled green leaves. Ornate brass frame, beaded trim, push-clasp closure, and fine brass chain handle. Cream satin lining stamped "Julius Garfinckel & Co.  Made in France  Expressly for Washington-Paris" — a special order from the legendary D.C. department store.

Beautiful early-to-mid 20th century French craftsmanship, beading fully intact with no major loss. However, the frame is coming loose and I don’t have time to fix it (see photos).
