Very rare Franklin Simon & Co. Beaver skin boater hat with pomegranate poms, made in New York city around 1900. This is the only boater on the internet fou d with poms poms!  Inspired by Spanish bull fighter hats. This hat is in great antique condition for its age, with a few flaws. The edge of rim has some fur missing. The hat looks like it was bent at one time and shows a crease in the fur (as seen in the photos). The hat band inside is coming undone and has some sweat stains. This has all its pom poms! Its a smaller size head. This belongs in a museum, because it is such a rare piece.
