This is a highly collectible and wonderfully historic piece of Alaskan maritime history. This original souvenir multi-page menu was issued by West Line / Westours, Inc. aboard the cruise ship M.V. West Star during the summer of 1971.

The front features a beautiful lithograph print of the portrait "Jack," a famous racing Alaskan Malamute, painted by the celebrated territory artist Josephine Crumrine Liddell. The reverse side of the cover page provides a detailed biography of Jack and his sled dog racing career in the annual Dog Derby with driver Mary Joyce.
