65th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Velykyy Luh" ("Big Meadow") is a combat formation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed in the midst of a full-scale war to protect the Ukrainian land. From the first days of their combat path, the soldiers of the brigade have been courageously holding the defense on the Zaporizhzhia Front, demonstrating indomitable spirit and loyalty to the military oath. The brigade has glorified itself with heroism in counterattack battles, becoming a symbol of the resilience and offensive power of the Ukrainian army. The honorary name "Velykyy Luh" has united modern defenders with the glorious Cossack heritage of the Ukrainian South. Today, the 65th brigade is a brotherhood of soldiers, which every day writes the latest history of the struggle for freedom, independence and the future of Ukraine.
