Up for sale is a distinguished piece of Canadian heritage: an original Governor General’s Academic Medal from the tenure of Lord Tweedsmuir (John Buchan). First established in 1873 by the Earl of Dufferin, this award is Canada’s most prestigious recognition for student academic excellence.
 This is an original strike from a period where only one was available per graduating class at participating schools.
