Vintage Lindy's Tackle Northern Pike Snell - Brainerd, MINN (Pre-1973 Merger)
Up for sale is a fantastic, highly collectible piece of Midwest fishing history. This is an original, early-production Lindy's Tackle Northern Pike Snell hook and leader assembly, complete with its original cardboard display card.
Historical & Production Notes:
- Production Era: Circa 1968–1973.
- The History: The Lindy Tackle Company was founded in 1968 in Brainerd, Minnesota, by legendary Hall of Fame anglers Al and Ron Lindner, alongside Nick Adams. In 1973, the company was sold to Ray-O-Vac and merged to become "Lindy-Little Joe." Because this packaging features only the original "Lindys Tackle Mfg., Brainerd, Minn." branding, it dates precisely to that iconic, initial 5-year window at the birth of the company.
