This is a really cool 19th century handmade and hand hammered copper pot also frequently called a jam pot. It has some good patina on it. You can see the grooves along the rim of the pot and of course the hand bonded and flattened rivets. Not sure if the handle is also copper or cast iron although they appear to be copper in my opinion. I think they used both during the time period. Does not feature any makers marks. Doesn't sit perfectly flat across the bottom but sits centered and straight. I don't know how many of these old pots sat straight to begin with. Pot is in good shape other than what is pictured or described. Very cool piece here.
