Large vellum manuscript [Conveyance] and dated 1st February 1855 between Henry James Turner of Broad Street Bloomsbury in the County of Middlesex [Oil & Colour Merchant] and Edward Ormond of Wantage in the County of Berks [Gentleman] of the one part and Walter Rice Howell Barker of Wantage in the County of Berks [Surgeon] of the other part.
The document relates in total to eight freehold cottages with the orchard garden yard and barn situate being on the west side of Tanner Street in Wantage in the County of Berks, in consideration for the sum of £890.
The indenture with age related folds and minor creases, neatly written in bold black ink, bright with minimal marks, complete with two wax seals and signed.
