The Praktica LTL 3 is a vintage East German 35mm SLR film camera featuring a classic silver color and M42 screw mount. This very solid all-metal camera includes two lenses, providing versatility for photographers looking to capture a range of subjects. With its historical significance and reliable brand reputation, the Praktica LTL 3 is a sought-after choice for vintage camera enthusiasts and photography hobbyists. A new battery is included, but the camera can be operated manually with no battery.

The camera is in good condition, though there is a small chip on the left upper corner of the film door, and a corner of leatherette is slightly loose on the lower right corner.

Includes a Meyer-Optik Oreston “zebra” lens, 50mm F1.8, all metal construction, manual focus, a lens known for creamy bokeh. The lens was reportedly based on an earlier design from Carl Zeiss Jena. Also includes a wide-angle Sigma 28mm F2.8 macro, manual focus in excellent condition.

The bundle was bought new in the early 1980’s and used by an art student in London to photograph projects, and has been little used since that time but still operates normally.
