Teacup and Saucer by Samuel Alcock Circa 1830-1840
This is a beautiful 19th-century English teacup and saucer dating to approximately 1830-1840. The set features a classic white porcelain body decorated with "sprigged" blue floral motifs in relief, a style often referred to as Grandmother's Chelsea. In my opinion, I attributed to Samuel Alcock.
The set is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. While the piece is unmarked, this is entirely consistent with Samuel Alcock’s production of useful wares during this era, where attribution is based on the specific molding and handle design. This would make a lovely and refined addition to any collection of early English porcelain.
The
set is in perfect antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs,
and it shows only the very light wear expected of a piece from the
1830s. This is a high-quality example of early Staffordshire porcelain
that would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
It is very rare.
Please, look the photos very well because they are a very important part of the description.
Look
my other items, I have more Samuel Alcock teacups and saucers, also many
more good antiques and I put many other good antiques very often.
