Offered here is a historical World War II-era display set featuring authentic German numismatic and philatelic material housed in a presentation album with a Certificate of Authenticity. This educational collection includes two Third Reich-era coins, a German Reichsmark military note, and a German postage stamp from the period. The set is designed to illustrate how coins, currency, and postage were used in Germany during the years of the Second World War.
According to the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity, the collection contains a 1 Reichspfennig coin, a 10 Reichspfennig coin, a 1 Reichsmark military note, and a German postage stamp issued during the Third Reich period. These items circulated or were issued during one of the most significant and consequential eras of twentieth-century history. Today, such artifacts are collected as historical objects that help document the political, economic, and social conditions of wartime Germany.
The presentation album includes historical background information and a Certificate of Authenticity bearing a facsimile signature of ANA member Robin L. Danziger. Whether added to a World War II collection, used as an educational display, or preserved as a historical artifact, this set provides an interesting glimpse into the material culture of wartime Germany.
