This forms part of a group of clothing I have been lucky enough to acquire which belonged to an Arthur Allardice (1882 -1969). He apparently worked at Glamis castle, home of the Late Queen Mother, and served during WW1 in the 8th battalion of the Gordon Highlanders, when he was awarded the 1915 star, war and victory medals. The collection consists of formal evening and day clothing and some uniform and highland dress items. All of excellent quality and very well preserved. See other listings for other parts of the collection.
