Condition: Vintage, used condition. No original packaging, no instructions. Some surface wear, some surface marks, some wear to the painted details. There are hand painted numbers on the different levels, likely from the maker. This item can still be used as a decoration or storage piece for smaller items. From smoke-free and pet free premises.

Description: A vintage Chinese tiered basket, estimated to be from around the 1960's. 

Made from painted wood / wicker. 

Colours: black, red, gold. 

This item has two tiers and a lid and can come apart into three pieces. 

Traditionally Chinese wedding baskets were used during engagement and wedding celebrations, to carry gifts, symbolic gifts, foods or dowry items. These baskets were used between the two families of the bride and groom. 

This listing has the base with fixed handle, middle removable basket tier and the removable lid.

The imagery on the lid depicts a bird in nature.

Suitable for smaller items or for collecting.
