An original gouache painting for the Consul Books paperback of the Western novel 'Six Bullets Left' by Barry Cord.
'Six Bullets Left' was first published in 1959. The painting is probably from this period.
Barry Cord was the pseudonym of Peter Baptisto Germano (1913-1983).
He was an American author of western novels in the 1950s and 1960s.
Condition:
The painting is on thick artist's board.
There are no tears or folds to the painting.
The artist's board measures approx. 37.5cm x 27.5cm.
The black lettering is of a letraset type.
The Consul Books logo in the bottom left corner has been printed and affixed to the painting.
Some cracking and loss to the white paint in the title 'Six Bullets Left'.
