This is a highly collectible vintage complete 2-volume set of "Genma Taisen" (Genma Wars), the iconic sci-fi apocalyptic masterpiece co-created and illustrated by the legendary manga master Shotaro Ishinomori (Cyborg 009 / Kamen Rider creator).

Published during the Showa era under Akita Shoten's famous Sunday Comics imprint, this original Japanese edition features the groundbreaking, high-stakes psychic battles and breathtaking cinematic sci-fi layouts that heavily shaped vintage anime and classic pop culture history.

As a vintage set that is several decades old, it shows authentic signs of natural aging: there is visible tanning (yellowing) and minor age-related spots on the page edges, along with slight shelf wear on the outer covers as captured in the photos.

Please note that Volume 1 has a detached page section near the binding as shown in the photos. The detached pages are present and included, and all text and artwork remain fully readable. Volume 2 remains intact. Please review all photos carefully before purchase.
