Tthe Adour turbofan was first produced for the Anglo‐French Sepecat Jaguar Gr1 Gr2 . entering service in 1972 as the Mk 102 with a dry thrust of 5,115 lb which was increased to 7,305 lb when reheated. A non‐afterburning version of the Adour known as the Mk 151 was produced for the British Aerospace Hawk, and this began RAF service in 1976 with a thrust rating of 5,200 lb. The engine was also in the Japanese T‐2 trainer and F‐1 fighter as the Mk 801a The Unit was used in the Jaguar and the Hawk series Mk.53 upto 1980 also later the Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour was for the Goshawk US McDonnell Douglas T-45 F405-RR-401
