This is a complete, genuine USGI (United States Government Issue) Large ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) Field Pack Rucksack system, featuring the iconic LC-1 design in Olive Drab (OD) Green. This COMPLETE system includes:
- Large ALICE Field Pack Rucksack: The main pack body, offering a large capacity (approximately 3,800 cubic inches / 62 liters, or designed for loads up to 70 lbs). It features a spacious top-loading main compartment with a drawstring closure, and typically includes:
- Three large external bellowed pockets with adjustable buckle and snap closures for quick access.
- Three smaller upper external pockets with snap closures.
- An internal radio pocket and often a flat pocket under the top flap for maps or documents.
- Drainage grommets in the bottom of the main compartment and external pockets.
- Made from durable, water-resistant nylon duck material.
- ALICE Pack External Frame: A lightweight yet incredibly strong aluminum frame that serves as the backbone of the system.
