Vintage 1956 Gibson ES-175DN in rare original sunburst Finish!

What's cooler than a 1950's P-90 ES-175? Very few things! This is a great chance to get into a golden-era ES-175 that is super clean and plays incredibly well. The woods are the premium OLD Gibson tone woods - the good stuff which will never return to modern electric guitar production. Priced at far below 50% of an all original example, this is a great vintage value!

The action on this guitar is perfect and plays low, evenly and buttery over the original frets. If you like that mid 50's Gibson fat neck profile that is a a nice round "C" - fat with the perfect amount of shoulder... this is the one! The fingerboard on this example is some of the most stunningly grained rosewood we've ever seen. The GOOD stuff!! There is some general wear to the body, as you'd expect from a guitar of this age that has been played. Plenty of wonderful finish checking as pictured. The most noticeable is a 3" scratch on the rim near the tailpiece, as pictured. Not a big deal, but worth noting!

This guitar has it's original rosewood bridge. The rest of the parts on this guitar are reproduction, but of the finest quality. The pickups are a great sounding set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-90s. The pots are new premium CTS 550k, Switchcraft jack and switch and Sprague .022mfd tone caps. The best of the best.
