This understated Art Deco-styled reamer is made of Coorsite and dates from the latter 1930s. Coorsite is a type of industrial porcelain that was originally made by the HF Coors Pottery Company. This reamer consists of a base with a metal rod and the reamer portion itself. It was designed to swivel back and forth, making it easier to juice oranges or other citrus fruits. I believe it's large enough to be considered a grapefruit reamer too, although I may receive some pushback on this from seasoned reamer collectors.

It possesses a beautiful green color. The reamer portion measures about 6 inches in diameter, not including the base and handle. The swivel base portion has a base diameter of just over 5 inches. When together, their height is about 5 1/2 inches. It swivels very smoothly.

Condition: Considering its age and use, I would consider it in very good condition. The top of the cone has some minor roughness and a couple of minor nicks. The handle has a bit of faint staining and crazing, which is hard to see and does not affect the aesthetic of the reamer. There is a glaze skip on the lower side that was difficult to photograph; this is from manufacture and again does not affect the look of the piece.
