It was jointly developed by Sony, a leader in cutting-edge technology, and Sony Music Studios, which has extensive experience in the live music industry. In addition to delivering high-quality sound, it is built to withstand the rigors of intense performances.

Faithfully reproduces the sound heard in the studio
While designed as in-ear monitors to ensure artists can perform with ease, the large-diameter 16mm dynamic driver unit delivers natural frequency response comparable to that of recording studio monitor speakers. With excellent resolution (detection limit), they are ideal for monitoring.

Fully leveraging the development expertise of studio monitor headphones
Developed jointly by Sony and Sony Music Studios, just like the MDR-CD900ST monitor headphones, which are highly regarded in recording environments. Through meticulous, hand-tuned sound quality adjustments, individual variations in acoustic characteristics have been minimized.
