Listed for auction today is a lovely vintage compact. It is clearly marked on the back "LAIRD TO ELSIE, 8-20-48". The compact is heart shaped and the cover features an angel & hearts with wings! And numerous "I love you" in several languages! It open to reveal a powder compartment with internal lid that is marked "Elgin American, MADE IN U.S.A.". It has certainly been lightly used, is in very nice condition and a great find! I have had this in my collection for easily over 30 years!
