Ian Fleming – The Blofeld Trilogy (Comprising: Thunderball, On Her Majesty’s Service, You Only Live Twice).

A set of first edition, first printings in their original 1st issue Dustwrappers, published by Cape between 1961-64.

These are from my own collection and I've read each of them again recently to confirm the below.

This isn't a fine set but that makes it easier on one's conscience when reading them.

What I like about them is that there are no inscriptions whatsoever and none of the books are ex-library, the dustwrappers are the originals for each of the books and none have been price clipped. 

Dustwrappers:

The correct original wrapper for each of the three books.

Rubbed, marked and worn with small edge tears and slight loss.

There is a fold mark (not a tear) that runs from the bottom of the spine of Thunderball and through the letters 'T' and 'H' - please see the photos.

Books:

Boards lightly rubbed, bumped and marked.

Base of spine of Thunderball chipped.

Some foxing to text block edge.

The binding of each book is holding well.

No tears.

A few marks / fox spots to a few pages though the majority of the pages in each book is clear.

No names, inscriptions nor bookplates and none of the three are ex-library.
