Presenting a lot of forty (40) Antique Architectural Relief-Molded Ceramic Tiles, made in the Late Victorian Period, 19th century (circa 1880-1900) The Manufacturer was Minton Hollins & Co. who was a major producer of high quality tiles that were used for domestic fire places, wash stands and hallways and they were also utilized into grand public buildings which include the houses of parliment in the UK and the United States Capitol. These tiles were produced at the Patent Tile Works in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire England and are considered collectible. **Please note there are 39 tiles that have the same matching pattern. There is one tile that has the same color / finish but it has a different embossed pattern. Please see detailed pictures- Tile at the lower bottom right. (and last picture) It is rare to have enough of these tiles together that they can make up a successful project / install. Each tile measures approximately 6"x 6". You can find many of these type of tiles for sale in sets of 4 online for $425.00 and up. I prefer to keep all of the tiles together so that they can once again be used as a complete architectural statement. In the past, these tiles were reclaimed from a building in England and were taken to Portugal. My wife and I purchased them in Portugal about 5 years ago and brought them to the USA. These tiles are now ready to be integrated into your next project. All tiles are in very good to excellent vintage condition. There are a few with slight chips on the front and a couple that have some of the side material thinned on the back side. (not visible on the front of the tile). Slight Natural color variations exist as these were hand made tiles. Please see detailed pictures.
