This is a strikingly beautiful Betsey Johnson butterfly (or moth) necklace from the designer’s Flutterbye collection.

The butterfly is made of lucite and is enameled in shifting iridescent yellow-green tones with a holographic/aurora quality — the color plays between blue and chartreuse depending on the light. Textured with fine linear striations radiating outward. White/cream border edging the wing tips.

The central body is embellished with glistening multi-tonal crystals, faux stones in pale celadon, AB rhinestones, and a large central rectangular crystal accent.

Suspended from a sturdy, chunky gold-tone chain link with a classic lobster clasp closure. Betsey Johnson hang tag is attached. It measures at about 16”with a 3 inch extender.

It is in lovely pre owned condition. There is no missing stones or tone loss to the metal.
