A selection of 4 crested and uncrested China and Earthernware products of different types up for grabs here. Great subject matter pieces that would compliment an already existing collection, or for you to start a new one. Display really well together, even though they are different subjects.....

So, what do we have - 

Unmarked miniature cheese/butter dish with the Edinburgh Civic Arms crest. Has the motto Nisi Dominus Frustra (**). Has a separate base/plate on which to rest. Dish measures 60x40x35mm and is decorated with a domed lid (with handle). The base measures 80x62x10mm and the 2 look great when together. Probably Earthermware circa 1930s

A miniature stamped WH Goss Kettering urn with a Stourport crest added for the commercial market. Goss made porcelain with an amazing glaze. In my view the highlight of this lot.... to date the piece it has a design registration of 543008, dating it to around 1910. Is a model of an ancient urn found in Kettering with a height of 60mm and also a diameter of about the same. It has no lid, which is correct for this piece. 

A modern Royal Stafford bone-china bud vase. Stamped 'Royal Stafford. Fine Bone China. Est 1845. Made in England' to the base. Decorated with a single rose and approximately 11cm high. More modern than the other pieces, circa 1980s with a maximum diameter of around 5cm

An unstamped crested boot (Blackpool) with the motto Progress on it (this is the motto of the Borough of Blackpool) circa 1920.  Likely to be glazed white Earthernware with a length of 10cm, width of 2.5cm and a height of 5cm

These really do look great but don't take my word for it. Please look at the pictures, which are of the items you will receive - no stock photos from me. Examining the pieces I see no chips or damage and all have that lovely tinging sound when you flick them. They really do look good.

Measuring approximately 14cm high (with a width of 4cm and a length of 3cm) this detailed crested clock pottery ornament contains the crested coat of arms for Wales along with the text 'Arms of Wales' and latin phrase 'Cymru Am Byth' (Wales Forever). 

Dating from circa 1920 this piece has a rare subject matter of the country of Wales (generally these pieces would favour an actual town or city) and in addition to the Welsh crest/motto contains the infamous Shakespeare quote often seen on such pieces = 'Make Use of Time. Let Not Advantage Slip'. 

Often these pieces would have a maker's mark stamped to the base - there is none present in this instance, making it more Arcadian style. Due to this it is likely to be glazed white Earthernware 

It really is a stunning piece and should be popular with clock piece collectors, collectors of fine pottery and, of course, collectors of Welsh Ephemera. The Shakespeare quote (from Venus and Adonis) will hopefully interest further people.
