Early color print after Bouguereau’s “Yvonne.” Found in a beautiful antique wood frame with carved/painted inlay details. When the old backing was removed, an original 1880s Victorian cabinet photo of a couple was found tucked behind the print — included with the sale.

   •   U becomes V

   •   W becomes VV

So “BOUGUEREAU” commonly appears printed as “BOGVEREAV” or “BOUVGVEREAV” on older prints.
