This pink glass candy dish is a unique piece of history. The dish features the phrase "REMEMBER THE MAINE" and a depiction of the Maine battleship making it a perfect addition to any collection of historical patriotic memorabilia. The dish is made by Colonial Glass, a well-known brand, out of high-quality glass. The sinking of the Maine set in motion the Spanish-American war. The glass is very good condition. There appears to be a tiny flaw at the front of the ship as shown in the last photo. The ship measures 7 in in length with a height of 3 1/2 in.
