HOW TO USE

1. Power OFF

Ensure switch is OFF before inserting or removing spark plugs.

2. Insert plug(s)

Place plug into socket 1 or 2. For comparison: new in 1, old in 2.

3. Connect 12V power

Use car battery or 12V adapter. Indicator (3) lights up.

4. Turn & adjust

Rotate switch (4) clockwise to power on (≈1000 RPM default). Turn further to increase up to 5000 RPM.

5. Observe spark

✅ Good: strong blue/white ⚠️ Weak: reddish / intermittent

6. Compare

Evaluate performance difference between new and old plugs at same frequency.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY

  • NOT compatible with lawnmowers, chainsaws, or most small engines (short thread plugs).
  • High voltage! Never touch metal parts of spark plug while tester is on.
  • Avoid direct bright light during testing for accurate spark color judgment.
  • This tester does NOT include spark plugs – they must be purchased separately.
