Legendary Texas Ranger John S. "Rip" Ford was the prime mover in organizing the Former Texas Rangers Association in 1897. The organization is still around and just had its annual reunion at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas. This coffee table-size publication includes 128 pages of Ranger history, biographies and photographs--both vintage and new. It is signed by FTRA Historian Mike Cox, who wrote the history section of the book. Also included, a free bonus pack of Ranger ephemera. The first edition of this  book likely won't last long before it goes into a second printing.
