This is the legendary "F704/5 20th ANNIVERSARY" brown glass rod, which is now extremely difficult to obtain. It was produced in limited quantities worldwide from 1974 to 1994 by Scott, a prestigious fly rod manufacturer, to commemorate the brand's 20th anniversary. It's a 7-foot, 4-weight rod perfectly suited to Japanese mountain streams. It's a multi-piece (5-piece) design, making it very convenient to carry. Every section, including the butt section, has the serial number "No. 033" handwritten, making it a truly rare rod. • I purchased this as a used (excellent condition) item over 20 years ago and have kept it carefully stored in a dark place at home without ever using it for actual fishing. • All 5 blanks are free of cracks or noticeable scratches, and the unique, lustrous brown sheen is beautifully preserved.
