Aogami No.1 Steel (Blue Paper Steel No.1): Forged with high-quality Hitachi Yasugi steel. Through the traditional Tosa free-forging process, the steel is beaten and stretched, creating a dense structure. It boasts exceptional hardness, sharpness, and edge retention.
Kurouchi Finish: The blade retains the black oxide film created during the quenching process. This unpolished, rustic finish not only looks traditional but also provides slight rust resistance compared to polished blades.
Kiritsuke Shape: Designed with a straight tip and a slightly flatter edge profile than a standard Gyuto. This allows for smoother pull-cuts and easier separation of ingredients.
Hand-forged by Master Blacksmiths: Made in Tosa, a region famous for its 400-year history of blade forging. Because each knife is completely handmade, there may be slight variations in size, weight, and minor forging marks, making each piece entirely unique.
Important Notes for Buyers
This is a high-carbon steel knife, meaning it is NOT rust-resistant (Not stainless).
Please wipe off any moisture completely after washing to prevent rust.
Do not use in a dishwasher.
The manufacturer applies a protective anti-rust varnish before shipping. The knife may not feel perfectly sharp right out of the box due to this varnish. It will naturally wear off with use, or you can sharpen the blade yourself to achieve your preferred custom edge.

Shipping
We always send the item with a tracking number. So please place an order without any concern on delivery. You can always track the delivery status.
Shipping is only available to the address registered in eBay. If you want us to send another address, please change your address on eBay and then place an order.
Shipping is available from Monday to Friday. Weekends and holidays are not available because freight companies are closed.

If you purchase two or more items in our store, we may be able to combine them and send them to you at a reduced shipping cost. Please ask.

Ir your address is in a remote area of the shipping company. In such cases, additional shipping fees will be charged. (US$5-$25)
Also if you change your receiving address with the shipping company after your order has been shipped, you will be charged an additional fee for the change of address (US$25 per transaction).
Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 days of arrival ONLY if the item was not the item described or defected.
No refunds will be made for any other reason (e.g., you don't like it, you changed your mind, etc.).
Refunds will be given ONLY if the item is returned in the same condition as when shipped.
**To prevent fraud, all items are checked for condition before shipping, serial numbers are recorded, and packaging conditions are documented with photos and videos.
