Vtg 1960s Linemar "Elegant Miniatures" — Pteranodon

Original 1960s diecast metal Pteranodon figure by Linemar Co., Inc. (Japanese subsidiary of Marx Toys), from their "Elegant Miniatures" series. Beautifully detailed flying pose with fully spread wings, distinctive head crest, and sharp beak — one of the most visually striking figures in the dinosaur subset of the series. Eye and beak paint accents are exceptionally well preserved for age.

Includes original yellow matchbox-style box with full-color Pteranodon lithography on all four sides, plus the classic red end panel reading "One of the Many Miniatures — Do You Have All of Them?"

Paint condition: Light age crazing throughout but largely intact — no flaking or bare metal. Eye and beak accents clean and sharp.
